Welcome to Bundle Bumps.
This blog is my personal chronicle of trying to conceive a bun in the oven through having a bundle of joy. Problem is, I'm fighting infertility.

A Brief History of our TTC Journey

2010

September: Chris returned home from a 4 month deployment in Afghanistan.  We decided to start TTC (trying to conceive) in a month or two.

November: Ended my last pack of birth control pills a few days before Thanksgiving and we officially began TTC cycle #1.

December: Decide I have no clue what I am doing.  Read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and begin charting my cycles using FAM (the Fertility Awareness Method). Cycle #2 begins.

2011

January - December: Cycles 3-13.  I watch my BBT (basal body temperature) charts go from wacky to patterned, a sign that my body is working to regulate my hormones after years of BCP's.

December: Decide something isn't right and see my GYN to begin fertility testing.  Dr. R tells me we need to do a SA (semen analysis) before any tests can be done on me.

2012

January: Begin cycle 14.  Chris undergoes two semen analyses.

February: Begin cycle 15.  One last semen analysis shows Chris has sufficient sperm.  I get the referral to see the fertility specialist on base and make an appointment.

March: Begin cycle 16.

April: Meet with RE Dr. King.  He suggests I have low progesterone so decides to test it. Progesterone level of 9.3 at 7DPO.

May: Progesterone level of 9.2 at 7DPO. Tried soy isoflavones supplement CD's 5-9.

June: Start Clomid Round 1. Progesterone level of 28 at 10DPO.

July: Clomid Round 2.
